Field guide

Make the arena work for you.

Red · Strike

Damages the player committing the new play.

Blue · Restore

Heals the player who owns the arena.

Yellow · Plunder

Steals random stones from the opponent's discard into the arena owner's deck.

Green · Revive

Moves the arena owner's discard back to their deck.

Black · Oblivion Campaign / custom games

Each Black first annihilates one waiting White and is consumed. Only Black stones left after every White is gone cancel every unprotected arena stone.

White · Aegis Campaign / custom games

White protects its accompanying stones on the following turn. Multiple White stones stack: every waiting White must be annihilated one-for-one before protection ends and ordinary colors cancel normally.

Campaign composite stones

A stone counts as its primary color plus every colored pip inscribed on it. Every color can cancel and add power, but a single counter to the primary color cancels the entire stone and all of its pips. Within a color, later stones are cancelled first—commit powerful stones early and let weaker stones shield them.

  1. 01

Choose up to five stones from your hand.

  2. 02

Check the slashed stones and the effects below the arena.

  3. 03

Commit your play. The old arena resolves, then your play takes its place.

Power scales fast: 1 / 2 / 4 / 8 / 16 for one through five matching stones.
